# Audit Logs

> Review Who Accessed and Changed Data in Your Organization

Kolena records every authenticated request made against your Organization, so you can review who read or
changed data, from where, and when. Background activity that Kolena performs on your behalf, such as a
data retention policy deleting expired Runs, is recorded alongside it.

## Viewing Audit Logs

<Note> This is available on the Enterprise Plan. [Contact Kolena](mailto:support@kolena.com) if you’re not on an Enterprise plan but would like to try this feature.</Note>

Audit logs can be viewed by `admin` users through the "Data & Security" tab on [your Organization page](https://agents.kolena.com/organization?tab=data-and-security), and by any user granted the **View Audit Logs** permission through [Custom Roles](/custom-roles).

1. Under **Audit Logs**, choose a time range.
2. Click **View**.

## What Is Recorded

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| Timestamp | When the request was handled |
| Workspace | The Workspace the request was scoped to, when it was scoped to one |
| User | The user who made the request |
| IP | The client IP address the request came from |
| Action | The operation performed, such as `add_agent_runs` or `delete_prompt` |
| HTTP Path, Method, Status | The underlying request and its outcome |
| Details | Identifiers of the records involved, for activity Kolena performed in the background |

These access logs can be retrieved programmatically via our [Query Access Logs API](/api-reference/query-access-logs) or through the [Python client](/python-client/quickstart).

## Filtering

Each of **User**, **IP** and **Action** can be filtered from its column header, and filters combine.
Use the time range at the top of the table to widen or narrow the period, and clear all filters with
**Clear Filters**.
