Is my data used to train AI models?

Data uploaded to Kolena is never used for AI model training. User interactions and input within Kolena are also never used for AI model training.

Where is my data stored?

Data uploaded to Kolena is stored in US-based cloud data centers. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Can I control how long my data stays in Kolena?

Yes. Retention policies for uploaded data can be set. This allows data to automatically be deleted from Kolena’s cloud storage based on fixed time intervals. Learn more about data retention here.

Can I view audit or access logs for usage on Kolena?

This is available on the Enterprise Plan. Contact Kolena if you’re not on an Enterprise plan but would like to try this feature.
Yes. All access to your data is logged and auditable. The following attributes are recorded for each user event on Kolena:
  • Timestamp
  • Workspace
  • User
  • IP address
  • Action (e.g., view agent, upload file, delete prompt)
  • HTTP method and path
  • HTTP response code
These access logs can be retrieved programmatically via our Query Access Logs API or through the Python client.
